Ruiz and Inokawa cushion lead in Photographic Hole Challenge　（フォトグラフィックホールでルイス、猪川がリード！）

Blustery conditions made play especially difficult on the two Photographic Holes in this past weekend's International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT) event at Sea Pines Resort. The oceanfront location of hole #15 at the Ocean Course and hole #18 at Habour Town Golf Links, adjacent to the Calibogue Sound, served as the most scenic holes for the 4th Annual Hank Haney Invitational.

Ana Ruiz (Chihuahua, Mexico) and Shosei Inokawa (Atamishi, Japan) made par on each hole to keep a comfortable lead in the Photographic Hole Challenge. Ruiz holds onto first place with 7 points while Inokawa maintains a close chase with 6 points in second.

The top performer this weekend was Ayaka Nakayama (Kanagawa, Japan) who birdied both holes. She was one of 10 total golfers to earn a 2 on the fifteenth at Ocean and one of a mere 4 golfers who made a 3 on the finishing hole at Habour Town. In her first event of the Photographic Hole Challenge, Nakayama was able to vault into a tie for 3rd place. She will look to make a strong chase for the lead when the season picks back up after the holiday break.

先週シーパインズリゾートで行われたIJGTで、強風のためプレーが思うようにいかないコンディションの中、フォトグラフィック・ホールが開催されました。今大会でも一番景色がきれいな海沿いのコース15番ホールとハーバータウン・ゴルフ・リンクス内の18番ホールでポイント制の試合が繰り広げられました。

メキシコ出身のアナ・ルイスと熱海市出身の猪川頌生はそれぞれのホールでパーを取りリードを広げました。最終的に、ルイスは7ポイントを獲得し1位、猪川は6ポイントで2位となりました。

先週末のトップパフォーマーは神奈川県出身の中山綾香。バーディーを取るのが難しいと言われているオーシャンコース（15番ホール）とハーバータウン（18番ホール）で見事にバーディーを取り、4ポイント獲得の3位タイと大健闘。来年は必ずトップ争いに絡んでくるでしょう。

また、日本人の新入生、吉次政人が中山と1ポイント差の3ポイントを獲得し、大活躍でした。今後の吉次にも大注目です！
