IJGA卒業生、I.K. Kim選手がKia Community Assist Awardを受賞

インターナショナルジュニアゴルフアカデミー(IJGA)の卒業生、I.K. Kim選手が2015年度のKia Community Assist Awardを受賞したとLPGAが発表しました。

Kia Community Assist Awardはチャリティー団体やコミュニティプログラムに多大な貢献を果たしたLPGAツアーの選手に贈られる賞です。



同じくIJGAの卒業生であるMariajo Uribe選手もこの賞にノミネートされました。Uribe選手は2008年12月、彼女の祖国コロンビアに住む子供たちの教育と課外活動を設けるためにFORE基金を設立しました。


IJGA Alum I.K. Kim Wins 2015 Kia Community Assist Award

The Kia Community Assist Award is given to an LPGA Tour player who made an exceptional contribution to a charity organization or community program.

Kim is a Global Ambassador for Special Olympics. She supports Special Olympics through her participation on the LPGA Tour’s Sports Resource team for golf, providing year-round clinics and building awareness for Special Olympics athletes, coaches and families throughout the world.

A native of South Korea, 27-year-old Kim is 50th on the Rolex Ranking. She has 62 career top-10 finishes and three career victories on the LPGA Tour.

Fellow IJGA alumna Mariajo Uribe was also nominated for the award. Uribe created the FORE foundation in December 2008 with a focus on creating educational and extracurricular activities for children in her home country of Colombia.
